Beth Moore Conferences

Updated on July 12, 2011

Beth Moore Conferences. What are they like?

Beth Moore, bible study teacher and author, has several conferences throughout the year. Living Proof Live is the main conference done through Living Proof Ministries. Beth travels along with her praise team including Travis Cottrell. Deeper Still is another event done by Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shirer. All three of these ladies are wonderful bible study teachers who can expound the Word in a wonderful way.

You can usually find a Beth Moore conference taking place throughout the year in locations across the nation.

How do I find a Beth Moore conference?

Finding a conference location in your area

To see where Beth Moore will be visiting you can check her schedule online at

Living Proof Live. You can also register for a particular conference directly on the website. If you register far enough in advance wristbands will usually be mailed to you.

Go ahead after you register and look for a hotel in the area if you will be staying out of town overnight. When there is a Beth Moore conference in town hotels fill up quickly. You will want to make sure you book in advance.

What to Expect at a Beth Moore Conference

Everything you should know

Many people may wonder what they should expect from a Beth Moore conference. If you have never been to one before then I can tell you that you are in for a real treat. I have been to several including Living Proof Live and Deeper Still. I haven't been disappointed yet. Beth Moore makes each conference informative and fun.

Each person has a wristband which they must wear for the duration of the conference. Many conferences are on a Friday night and Saturday morning (or through the afternoon). Therefore, most people either wear the wristband loose enough to be able to slip it off at night or else they just sleep with it on. Typically, I just sleep with it on and it doesn't bother me at all.

The first evening that you go you will see a massive amount of women all walking toward the conference center, Bibles in hand, happy and excited to be there. Once inside you can find your seats or browse the booths available. They sale many of Beth Moore's books and bible studies. You can also purchase t-shirts, cds, and dvds.

Usually the event opens with prayer. Travis Cottrell and the praise team then lead everyone in worship. This is a wonderful time so be here for this. These guys do a fabulous job. I especially love when they sing Mercy Seat. It has quickly become a favorite of mine.

If you look down toward the front of the stage you will at some point see Beth Moore. She will be singing along with everyone else. She enjoys the worship time just as much as everyone else. Afterwards, Beth will come up and begin to teach. You will notice that she is witty, funny, and able to carry you through to a better understanding of the Word.

You will typically have more worship time at the end before leaving for the evening. Many people head out to dinner or back to their hotels. Usually you have a small bible study assignment to do that evening. I always find these wonderful as I get to work on my own some.

The next morning when you arrive you will have much of the same thing. However, if it is a full Saturday event there will often be an intermission where you go have lunch. You can leave if you want, however, be aware there will be lots of traffic probably. Know the location and what is nearby where you can eat. Also, they often offer boxed lunches that you can order in advance when you register. This way you can eat at the conference venue and not have to worry about getting back on time.

These are some of the basics when going to a Beth Moore conference.

Living Proof Live - A Glimpse at a Beth Moore Conference Event

This will help give you a taste of what you are in for when you attend a Beth Moore event. Funny, informative, deep, and wonderful is how I describe these events each time I go.

Have you been to a Beth Moore event? If so, what did you enjoy the most? If you haven't been before, what is the one thing you are looking forward to the most?
